    Our foundation was established<\/p>\n

    Childhood Autism Foundation provides assistance-dog therapy for autistic children in Gennaro Verolino Elementary School. The sessions are held by Krisztina Nagy and \u00c9va Tombor assistance dog trainers together with a special education teacher.<\/p>\n

    In this school year we are able to carry out development activities with the support of the MVM Group.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

    Sensory room<\/h3>

    Our first long-term plan is to set up a sensory room that improves the focusing and learning abilities of autistic children.     Recreational camp<\/h3>

    Child transport<\/h3>

    Dog, horse therapy<\/h3>

    About autism<\/span><\/h1><\/div>[vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

    Autism is \u201cinvisible\u201d to people in the sense that many affected with autism look normal like anybody else. Despite autism being one of the most common developmental disabilities, there is not enough information about it.<\/p>\n

    Isolation, unemployment and lack of education have been assumed to be inevitable consequences of the limitations imposed by autism itself. The inferior economic and social status of people with autism is not a consequence of the disability itself but rather the result of societal barriers and prejudices. As with racial minorities and women, only true acceptance can change the status.<\/p>\n

    \n

    Our foundation is asking for acceptance. Little by little we are changing the approach and our goal is to increase the potential of autistic people in many areas of life.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

    An insight to the everyday life:<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n

    Today however, we are hearing more and more amazing stories about children on the autism spectrum displaying talents and skills no one believed possible. Some develop computer applications, some play music with amazing talent and some non-speaking children display writing abilities that show a deep understanding of language and life.<\/p>\n
